Larry

· 13.2hh Irish bred liver chestnut gelding;

· 14 years old;

· Same home for the last 5 years;

· Active in Ledbury Pony Club;

· Participated in Junior and Senior camps;

· Done Tetrathlon (area) and Mounted Games (area);

· Excels SJ honest, careful and fast against the clock done Area SJ competitions;

· Jumps 3ft courses easily;

· Always placed local WH;

· Good to box, shoe, clip, catch and in traffic;

· Sociable in field with others;

· Hacks alone and in company;

· Good at opening and closing gates.

 

As we recently sold my son’s pony we were happy to take Larry to sell for his owners as we have always admired him at Pony Club.

Tristan was glad of something so nice to ride as his current rider was much too tall to get him out competing and seen.

Tristan had only hacked him once when we took him show jumping at Brockhampton, where they won the first class and were third in the next!!

Larry is very straight forward to ride in the ring, he’s balanced and turns easily.  He will do Pony Club over Easter and anything else we can find.

Sarah and Linda Medcalf (Larry’s owners) would like a 5* Pony Club home for Larry.  They have made it clear to me that they do not want him to go to a home where he will be ramped around and over-jumped .  You occasionally see this with honest willing ponies like Larry.
